Bert Weiss Glass Studio has made a series of glass and steel sculptures

6' x 13" This sculpture is made with 2 layers of 1/2" glass sandwiching a layer of colored and clear crushed glass. It is then slumped on a "wrinkled" mold. The glass is set in a coreten steel pyramid shaped base that is designed to be rusty, making it suitable for outdoor or indoor use. This series of sculptures is in "human" scale, each one taking up the space of a person.
