Bert Weiss Glass Studio has done many lighting projects, often for restaurants. Each project has been designed to give a particular quality of light for an architectural setting.

The hanging glass bowls made a big impression at the Philadelphia Furniture and Furnishings show this year. This design can be hung as a pendant, from three or four wires. It comes in 23" diameter and 33" diameter. The glass can be finished with hand painted color, frosted, or both. A palette of 15 intermixable colors can be used. Color samples can be scanned and often matched. These pendants are most often hung beneath a recessed can light. Any remote light source will work. The fixture appears as a glowing bowl, with no visible lighting hardware.
